The Premier League Thread

Recommended Posts

Chelsea lucky to get a point today, offside goal from Terry in the 98th minute.

Yeah that was scandalous!!

Two huge games today, the first being Liverpool vs Manchester United at 2pm. Big game given the teams involved and, if Liverpool lose, they are right out of the hunt for top four (not well and truly, but it makes it a mammoth task imo.). United really need to win if they want to make top 3.

The 4pm is Stoke vs Arsenal, Arsenal will be desperate to win and go back to the top of the Premier League while Stoke will want to open a gap on Palace and (potentially) Liverpool.

Anybody going to be watching the games? Any predictions?

Gonna be tuning in to the Liverpool - Man Utd clash for sure. Neither team are playing super well lately, but this match-up usually has a life of it's own and it's usually hard to predict going in. Let's hope for an entertaining match with a Liverpool win ;)

Yeh, I told me friend it was gonna end in a 0-1 loss from us after not being able to finish any of our chances in the break. Congrats on the win though!

You lot were really unlucky today, but for De Gea you'd have won.

He was really good today, but that's nothing new. Easily one of the best there is these days, makes you wonder how your season would'gone if he'd gone to Real Madrid over the summer.

Terribly. End of. I dread to think what position we'd have finished the past few season without him.

On the topic of Keepers, Petr Cech just made a fantastic double save in the game against Stoke.

So, the Norwich - Liverpool starts. We go 1-0 up, my girlfriend insists I go with her to IKEA. I eventually say yes, because it would land me a good portion of boyfriend points and some of their amazing Cinnamon Buns. Match turns into a real nail-biter with some pretty nice goals in a 4-5 win. FML :(

Fucking great opening 25 mins for United. Lingaard with a good goal after a great ball in from Borthwick-Jackson and Anthony Martial has scored a brilliant goal after great feet from Mata and a lovely ball from Rooney.

Another good United goal, 3-0 now.

Best United attacking performance of the season so far for me.

Gutted with the late equaliser, but Paloschi looked good and nearly made it 2-0 before Rondon scored. So close but promising signs, and we needed someone strong and hungry up front which now looks to have arrived.

Roll on Palace!

Vardy man, fucking Vardy, Combined with our natural ability to not score goals, didn't end well.

Good save from Migs on a dipping shot

Fucking Vardy

Don't let it bounce is something they teach you as a 5-year old.

There is also a clip of Leicester ripping you lot to shreds like they're Barcelona as well.

Remember when we all laughed when they appointed Ranieri...?
